july twentyseven.
DAY SIX OF THE LOVE AMPLIFIED PROJECT. :)

jamie at frieswiththat___x; yesterday i left a 30 cent tip in the tip jar at the local ice cream shop. (: and the day before that i gave the nice man at starbucks who gave me my bagel my spare change.

sorry for not updating yesterday. :( i didn't have time since i was out all day and got home at midnight, practically. thanks for all the nice comments you guys left, and to whoever did something good yesterday and the day before that. :) hopefully more people will submit their good deeds though. i decided i'm going to go through with writing about certain issues like addiction, depression and suicide starting tomorrow when i have more time to find a nice, informative article. here's a little disclaimer though, i'm not a doctor or an expert or anything like that, i'm just a teenager with a mind. all opinions are just personal opinions. you're all allowed to voice out your opinions through commenting. this is a free site where you can say whatever you want, introduce a little anarchy. ;) today's poem was written by ella wheeler wilcox.

my good deed; at the mall, i didn't complain about the dozens of stores my mom and dad just had to stop at to buy some things like i usually would.

DAY FIVE OF THE LOVE AMPLIFIED PROJECT. :)

someone at singleadoration; it was fan day in my school, meaning we turn of the aircon the whole morning and use the electric fans instead. sure, i complained a bit, but i feel that i helped mother nature this way. :)

i love how so far, no post has gone without a good deed submitted. :) thanks for that! keep sending them in. i'm thinking of expanding the idea of this site a bit. it's all about peace and giving love to others, right? maybe i'll expand it to global and social awareness, like maybe i'll post some things about violence, wars and people who have serious mental problems here. but how i'm supposed to do that, i have no idea. i'm thinking of getting some articles about wars, suicide and addicts. not addicts as in addicted to candy or shopping, but the stalkers in real life and what they do, plus how they got that way and why they usually end up killing people. it's all really interesting actually. don't worry, i won't take shots at emo or emo music, i don't want to use those as scapegoats. btw the poem below is by robert w. service.

my good deed; i made a lot more than usual of people at school smile today. :D yes, including a lot of teachers, because i'm just that random and yesterday was a happy day.

(buck up, do your damnedest and fight!)

DAY FOUR OF THE LOVE AMPLIFIED PROJECT. :)

mariah at suchapartygirl; my good deed for the day was that i forgave my father even though he took away the one thing i've always wanted. & i cleaned up some litter that was laying around the street.

lol i love starting out posts with thank you notes. :D so to whoever's supporting this site and featuring, thank you. :) i know, only one person submitted a good deed yesterday, but that doesn't mean only one single person did something good yesterday. hopefully more good deeds will be submitted in the next post? i hope so. in the meantime, i found a nice poem to share with you guys, it's called the house by the side of the road and it's by sam walter foss. :p if you want to read the poem, just follow the cut under my good deed. enjoy. :) i'll make a random observation, i keep typing in smileys in here. i can't help it haha.

my good deed; i helped clean the windows of the second floor of our building, for this school activity. :) and i was especially nice to this girl who, quite frankly, was being an arse to me in particular.

DAY THREE OF THE LOVE AMPLIFIED PROJECT. :)

peach at bonethindaisy; i let my sister shower first, just to be nice.
someone at twistedrendezvous; i lead the prayer during class after my classmate had a seizure. we all hope and prayed that she was going to be alright.
jamie at frieswiththat___x; we had to do a project in school where you got $1 and that's all you could use to brighten up someone's life. i had my grandma knit and give me her scarves and gloves she knitted. then with the dollar i bought a ton of candy canes and gave them to the homeless downtown. but for my good deed, when i got the mail yesterday there was trash in the ditch and i carried it back to my house and threw it away.
tai at barneysnewyork; i was in an old people's home & i helped open doors & i said hi to them when they looked lonely & made conversation.

three cheers to all the people who showed a little bit of love yesterday! :) seriously, thanks so much guys. this is random but this site was listed on the xanga frontpage, in that little featured content box, for about a second or so, just a few minutes ago. :p i wasn't there anymore though once i refreshed the page, so i didn't get to take a screenshot. :D that was still pretty cool. as for today's inspiring piece of literature, here's an excerpt from max ehrmann's "desiderata." but before that, here's...

my good deed; i picked up the paper cup my friend threw to the ground in frustration and i helped two of my friends with the social studies seatwork. :)

now, here's the excerpt from the poem. it's just an excerpt, it's not the whole thing. :p it's under the cut.

(no less than the trees and the stars)

DAY TWO OF THE LOVE AMPLIFIED PROJECT. :)

someone at twistedrendezvous; i let my second cousin vent, for she was really mad at her teacher and needed someone to talk to.
claire at fridaynightparties; i helped my grandma shop for groceries.
christine at christinee_weenie_dur; i let my close friend know that she's beautiful, no matter what the world portrays as gorgeous.

i'm glad to see this project's going somewhere. :D thank you to all who did something good yesterday! okay, i'm still looking around for some inspiring stories or poems that aren't way too cliché to post here. i know, i said i was going to post something today but i've got nothing. i'm sorry guys! :( so far, everything i've read are either beyond cheesy, completely unrelated, or blunt and mediocre. :p i really don't want to come off as a nun here. if i can't find anything, i'll be more than happy to write about the man who inspired me to make this site. :) i think that's what i'll do for the next post. thanks again guys, keep sending in your good deeds!

my good deed; i didn't forget to segregate today and i was being nice to the two people who are kind of pissing me off right now. :D
